Lakewood Lodge No. 601

The brethren of Lakewood Lodge 601, in collaboration with Clifton-Gaston Allen Lodge #664, have once again successfully put on the Annual Children’s Holiday Party!  The children sang carols and enjoyed treats. We also had a clown in attendance making balloon animals and of course Santa stopped by with gifts for all the children!

Special thanks to Millard and Bev MacDonald for their hard work in organizing and planning this event, Brother Jason Briggs for providing the refreshments and Brothers Sean Benjamin and Matt Wallace for managing the distribution of gifts!

Lakewood Masonic Lodge #601 and Clifton-Gaston Allen Lodge #664 (both lodges call the Lakewood Masonic Temple home) participated in the first annual Light Up Lakewood Parade on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011. 

The parade exhibits the continuous efforts of Lakewood Lodge to strengthen ties with the city of Lakewood and the community in which we all live and work. Moreover, Lakewood Masonic Temple is an official sponsor of the Light Up Lakewood event and hosted holiday entertainment after the parade. Entertainment at the Temple consisted of Lincoln Elementary Singers & Bill Knittel, Garfield Middle School Choir, Harding Middle School Choir and Silhouette School of Dance Performances. We want the community to know that we are still in Lakewood and we are planning on being much more active and visible in Lakewood.

A big thank you to Brother Jason Briggs for coordinating this event with the parade committee and for designing and having the banner below created!
