The Entered Apprentice Degree is the first degree of Freemasonry. All Entered Apprentices should read and work to truly understand the allegory and the symbols experienced in the degree by studying the attached file. Please ask your coach about anything that you have questions on after reading it. It is in your best interest as a candidate to NOT read ahead to the other degrees. Nothing here is secretive, but you will have a much better experience in the future if you hold off on reading about them until you have experienced them.
